Q: Which UA Coreshorts are right for me?

A:  The key to selecting the appropriate version of Coreshorts, is to first determine how much compression and stabilization is needed.

Recommended for all activities and daily use requiring MINIMAL compressive support

Actvities may include, but not limited to: Walking, biking, golf, gardening, gym exercise, postpartum stability, hip replacement, hernia repair.

UA Coreshorts Pro - 2 Way 'X' Core Activation System (previously called Pro)

#1 recommended compression short in professional sports for groin injuries! Provides dynamic pelvic compression and motion control of the legs for injury prevention and recovery. Compression rating 20-30 mmHg. Beneficial for sacroiliac joint stabilization, osteitis pubis, hip flexor, quadriceps, hamstring and lower abdominal strain.

If you require more functional support than the UA Coreshorts (Lite), regardless of what type of sport or activity you are involved in, then you should be in the UA Coreshorts Pro version.

Q: Is there any difference between original Coreshorts and Under Armour Coreshorts?

A: The custom "X" elastic on Pro versions of UA Coreshorts is the same as was previously used on original Coreshorts Pro. The main difference between the original Coreshort and the UA version is in the 'filler fabric' The side panels and gusset area have a lighter fabric which does not negatively affect the function of short. The entry level Under Armour Coreshorts (equivalent to original "Lite" version), also have a lighter fabric. All fabric still offers HeatGear®, as well as Odour Control, and UPF technology.

Q: Can I still buy original Coreshorts?

A: In January 2010, Under Armour took over all the manufacturing and distribution of Coreshorts. Coretection Products Ltd. no longer manufactures Coreshorts, and has no stock at their warehouse. The only original product still available would be stock remaining on a retailer shelf.
